Custom Art and Metalwork
GET TO KNOW ME
Since an early age I was immersed in a mechanical, metalworking, woodworking, and art environment by my parents who encouraged me and my siblings to explore our interests and talents. In high school I began to refine his skills, taking all the shop and art classes I could. Even skipping out of required classes to spend extra time in an art metal class with my favorite teacher. She expanded my abilities in metal working, lapidary, enameling and jewelry making.
The period after High School found me as a Goldsmith apprentice. Driven into me were disciplines of high quality, attention to detail, pride in my work, and the strive for perfection. Those years helped define my character and work ethic. I ventured into heavy industry where large fabrication shops gave me new outlets to explore. I studied metalurgy, and was inspired to make hunting and fighting knives. Forging some of these blades led me to another interest, ornamental iron work. It nicely tied together my beginnings in art metals and goldsmithing with my present medium, iron.
In 1995 I started my business under the name of "Timeless". The name was chosen for my belief that a persons craft is judged by its beauty, quality, integrity and duration. Soon my day job and my business vied for my time and it was easy to make a decision of which to continue.
Over the years, the workshop and clientele have grown. Timeless presently caters to other artists, designers, contractors and private collectors.
